Please tell me you're a weirdo, too.

I am so happy you are here, new friend!

My name is Sara and I help women find their voice and power, and design lives of pleasure.

As a sex educator and sex researcher, my passion is learning and teaching about how you develop your most intimate life- with yourself and others.

I help people improve their mental health, their relationship to motherhood, and finding the skills to have more orgasms.

A certified weirdo who likes to speak publicly about sexual wellness, I believe that normalizing conversations on sexual empowerment and pleasure can help to move our society forward to a safer more just place to live.

Outside of sex research, I love learning about big, beautiful ADHD brains (I was diagnosed postpartum at 36), taking road trips with my family, listening to Dolly Parton, Sade, and Imogen Heap, thrifting for treasures, and singing Broadway tunes at the top of my lungs.

Here's some fun stuff I do.

My favorite thing to do is to host fun conversations with women about their power and their purpose. Through a trauma-informed perspective I hold space for women to share their most intimate fears and desires. Together we sit with shame and we work through how we can make mindset shifts and take small brave steps to become empowered.

I have hosted coaching clients-moms who want to find their way back to themselves postpartum, community sexual wellness events, started a podcast called Ladybits and Leadership, and in 2024 I will be returning to research to study indigenizing sexual wellness education as a Research Chair with Fulbright Canada at Vancouver Island University.

As Seen on Hawaii Public Radio

As an NPR nerd, I fulfilled a life dream by being featured recently on Hawaii Public Radio with my girl, and fellow female empowerment advocate, Dr. Stephanie Han.

Because if we don't have a bio...who even are we?

Dr. Sara Vogel

Sex Educator | Storyteller | Fulbright Scholar

Dr. Sara Vogel is a playful, dynamic, trauma-informed sex educator, who is creating a world where conversations around sex and pleasure are normalized. For over fifteen years, she served as a leader in higher education, most recently working as a Title IX Coordinator supporting survivors of sexual and relationship violence. In 2022, Dr. Vogel launched her podcast, Ladybits and Leadership, to host authentic conversations on the intersections of gender, culture, power, sex, and pleasure. The podcast became a sensation and launched her educational company to new heights.

Dr. Vogel now speaks at colleges and universities to continue the fight to close the orgasm gap, liberate sex, and promote pleasure. She recently was selected as a 2024 Fulbright Research Chair and will research how we can decolonize and indigenize sexual wellness and empowerment education- focusing specifically on Hawaiian and Pasifika narratives. She will be delivering her first TEDx talk at her alma mater the University of the Pacific in April 2024 on the topic, "What We Get Wrong About Sexual Violence Prevention."
